Mercury Kahli copper (knee) 4-6 weeks

The finance will be without the guards/forward Kahli copper for four to six weeks to start the season.
The team announced on Saturday that Copper performed an orthroscopic process on its left knee. Mercury also said that further/Center Natasha Mac will miss two to three weeks with an injury of two to three weeks.
The 30-year-old copper is the WNBA all-star four times and led the mercury in the scoring in the last season with 21.1 points in Phoenix. This placed it third in WNBA behind A’Ja Wilson and Dallas Wings (22.2 PPG) of Las Vegas Aces (26.9 PPG).
He was expected to provide experienced leadership for Mercury this season following the retirement of the franchise icon Diana Raksi and the departure of the Britney Grinner at the Free Agency.
Copper is also played with Washington Mistics (2016) and Chicago Sky (2017-23). He has a career average of 12.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, but has not average less than 14.4 points per game since 2020 season. When Sky won the 2021 WNBA title, he earned the WNBA Final MVP Award.
Mercury defeated Seattle Storm 81-59 in his season’s opener on Saturday.
