MCWS: Ked Anderson’s gem lifts LSU on Arkansas

Ked Anderson allowed only three hits and one run in seven innings and No. 6 National Seed LSU defeated number 3 National Seed Arkansas 4–1 in Omaha, Neb on Saturday night in the opener of a male college world series.
On Monday, Tigers (49–15) will face the UCLA, who defeated the dead state, 6-4, on the first Saturday, and the Razorback (48–14) will face the dead kingdom in an elimination game.
The Razorback did not get the hit until the Vehwa alloy led the below the fourth with a single, but Anderson scorched them until the Reese Robinet led the sixth under the sixth with his third domestic run of the season.
Anderson left the eighth after allowing a leadoff single. Chase Shors replaced him and retired the next three batsmen. Kaisan Evans then gave a scorch.
LSU took a 3–0 lead in the top of the second and knocked on the game Arkansas Ace Zach Route from the game. Chris Stanfield had an RBI single, Michael Braswell III collided with a pitch with loaded bases and the RBI grounder of Josh Pearson ended the route.
Gab Gakele gave relief and took the tigers to eighth position, but he allowed Steven Millum to a double and later, Kol Gibber gave relief and gave Derek Curial an RBI single.
