Mavs coach Jason Kid buys a stake in EPL Everton Club

Jason Kid, head coach of Dallas Maveryx, has joined the ownership group of the Eriting Football Club of the Premier League.

The club did not disclose the financial stake of the kids in the roundhouse capital holdings, which is part of the Friedkin group. Friedkin owned Everton in December.

Kid said in a news release, “I am honored to join Everton’s ownership in such an important moment.” “With a new stadium on the horizon and further a bright future, it is a great moment to come on the board.”

Kid, who grew up playing young football in Oklaland, California, invested in football clubs in 2023 at its Grahanagar-Roots (USL Championship) and The Sol Sports Club (USL W-League).

Last year, he was part of a group desirous of purchasing a stake in the Premier League Club Crystal Palace, athletic reported in November.

The 52-year-old Kid was a 10-time NBA all-star as a player and won the NBA title with Maveryx in 2011. He won two Olympic gold medals with his American colleagues and in 2018 was vested in the Nismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

He has given coaching to New Jersey Net’s, Milwauki Box and Maveryx.

Those experiences will benefit Everton, executive president Mark Vats said.

“One of the greatest players of NBA and now a successful coach, his knowledge and winning mentality would be an incredible resource for Everton,” said Watts.

“He is a respected leader and domestic name for many sports fans and will make a deep understanding of high performance as we collectively try to create a bright future for this stored club.”
