Mates’ RHP Kodai Sega Double-A Rehab Starts

New York Met’s right-handed pitcher Kodai Senga on Saturday showed positive progress towards his return to the initial rotation after pitching in the fourth innings of his double-e-rehab.
On June 12, after covering his right handstring under stress, Seng hit four and two in innings for Binghamon, after stressing his right handstright. He threw 68 pitches and gave four runs (three earned) on six hits against Hartford.
After entering the injured list, Mats lost 14 of the next 17 matches. However, New York rebounded, and won four directly, including two against two Yanki.
The Seng, who moved to 20–10 with 2.53 ERAs and 281 strikes in three sessions with mates, can allegedly return to the Big-League club just before the all-star break.
A 2023 All-Star, Seng 13 is 7-3, this season starts with 1.47 ERA and 73 2/3 innings with 70 strikes.
