Marlins, against diamondback, look for sixth consecutive win

The right -handed Sandy Alkantara appears back in the form, and Miami Marlins will demand a more strong start to play Arizona Diamondback in Phoenix on Saturday.

Marlins enhanced the streak of his season-winning win in five matches with a 9–8 win on Friday with a three-game series opener. He has won 11 of the last 16 matches and his previous two series.

Alkantara (4-8, 6.69 ERA) is ready to oppose Arizona’s right-handed brandon Pafad (8-5, 5.49), who are tied with five others to win in the National League.

Miami made 13 hits on Friday and hit a double -point in all five matches during the winning line. Shortstop Otto Lopez on Friday made three hits including two -run homer, so that his hitting streak could be extended to eight matches. He is batting 15 -for -32 with 10 RBI on that line.

Diamondback scored three runs on the ninth Friday and Tim Tawa had a runner first and third before Tim Tawa reached the ground in game-ending double play.

Tawa replaced the first Basman Josh Niler in the seventh innings as Arizona’s manager Tori Lovullo said there was a rigid neck for nailer. He is also struggling with the agony of the right shoulder, and Lovulo said that the first basman will probably not play on Saturday.

Diamondback made two errors, leading to two unknown runs.
