Luke Paulter in US Open qualifier playoffs

Austain Truslo defeated Luke Paulter in two-man playoffs on Tuesday for the fourth and final US Open qualifying spots at Emerald Dunes Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The game was suspended on Monday night due to bad weather, expanding the play with four places on the line for the qualifier to enter the 2025 US Open from 12–15 June.
Justin Hicks (65–68), Philip Barbari Junior (69–64) and amateur Frankie Harris (66-67) all ended under 11 under 11 under 36 holes to qualify for the third head of this season.
The game of truslo is distinguished in the course by their one-hand peeling method.
The 29-year-old Truslo, and a 21-year-old Junior at the University of Florida and Ian Palter’s son Paulter, tied in 10-under and suddenly moved into the playoffs of death.
Truslo shot 68-66 and when the play resumed on Tuesday, Paulter (69–65) gave a card to three beats to force the playoffs. Truslo became the 47th and final qualifier for the US Open and Palor would serve as an optional.
Trusloe qualified for the 2023 US Open and cut 5 overs with a round of 72 and 73 at the Los Angeles Country Club.
Since Pro Turning in 2015, Truslo has competed in eight PGA tour events and cut only once. He has six on the Asian tour this year, with a finish in the top 30 (T29 in New Zealand Open in February).
