Jeed Jones played the role of a hero once in the last two innings on Wednesday and on Wednesday, Walk-off Single of Junior First Basman won number 6 LSUs 6-5 over number 3 Arkansas and in the finals of the Mains College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
A rematch between the top two seeded teams in Omaha produced a very late drama in a winning game for the LSU 4–1 losing reserbacks in the initial game of both teams on Saturday.
For tigers (51–15), the ninth three-ran bottom-arcons (50–15) was scored twice in the top of the frame-this means that LSU number 13 is upgraded to the best-three finals of the series against Carolina, which will begin on Saturday.
