Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) scripted history on Monday, this season with foreign batsmen from the team crossing the 400 -run mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL). LSG batsmen achieved this record during their IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Ekna Stadium in Lucknow. Thanks to his performance this month, LSG opener Mitchell Marsh and Iden Markram and explosive batsman Nicolas Goran scored 400 runs this season. For the first time, three foreign players of a franchise have completed 400 runs in a season.
Marsh started scoring 65 in just 39 balls with six fours and four sixes. His runs came at a strike rate of 166.67. He set a 115 -run stand with Markram, who made 61 balls in 38 balls with four borders and four sixes. His runs came at a strike rate of 160.53.
