LSG achieves unique achievement despite knocking out of IPL 2025 playoff race




Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) scripted history on Monday, this season with foreign batsmen from the team crossing the 400 -run mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL). LSG batsmen achieved this record during their IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Ekna Stadium in Lucknow. Thanks to his performance this month, LSG opener Mitchell Marsh and Iden Markram and explosive batsman Nicolas Goran scored 400 runs this season. For the first time, three foreign players of a franchise have completed 400 runs in a season.

Coming into the match, SRH won the toss and opted for the first field. Markram and Marsh scored half -centuries and scored 115 runs for the first wicket. Later, except for the poor, every other batsman failed to touch double points as LSG ended at 205/7 in its 20 overs.
