China’s vehicle was hovering around the Liu cut line when it was assessed a two-stroke penalty to play slow during the second round of the avian championship on Friday.

According to Golf Digest, Liu, who started his round at nine at the Evian Resort Golf Club, was playing the seventh hole, when he was assessed the penalty. She went to The Double Bogi The Para -5 and chased her with another bogie.

Liu overturned his final hole for the Birdi, but missed the fourth head of the year by three shots.

Penalty is part of the LPGA’s effort to improve the pace-off-play issues, which have been severely criticized by many Marki players of the tour. LPGA updated its speed-to-game policy in February, implementing a fine for a player, which is 1-5 seconds on the allocated time limit, one-stroke fine to exceed 6–15 seconds and two-stroke penalty for players over 16 seconds on time limit.

Liu is the second player to assess two-shot penalty to join Chisato Evai, who was the first player to be handed over a two-stroke penalty during the Black Desert Championship in May. According to golf digest, since the release of the new policy, all have been penalty at four slow pace.

Liu entered the 107th position in the Evian Championship in France in the Rolex Women’s World Rankings. However, she has now missed five of her last six cuts.
