Mahindra said, “For 18 years, Virat Kohli gave his heart to a team that never touched the trophy.Quoting poet Rabindranath Tagore, he launched his post, wrote: “Faith is the bird that feels light and sings when dawn is still dark.”
Kohli, who joined RCB as a teenager after India’s leading India for the U-19 World Cup title in 2008, moved three previous IPL finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016 as captain in -2021, Kohli remained RCB’s emotional and batting anchor. His record in the 2016 season is still unmatched 973 runs.
