The video shared by Punjab Kings on its official X handle shows Iyer carelessly wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, playing barefoot with a plastic ball in his living room. The suited game between mother and son took a blessing turn when Rohini bowled the Indian star, and celebrated with sheer enthusiasm – took up arms and a big smile like any proud cricketer. Punjab Kings captioned the post, “Only time sarpanch would have no objection to bowling! ♥ ️”, referring to Iyer’s surname. Iyer, who recently represented Sobo Mumbai Falcons in the Mumbai T20 League after the IPL 2025 season, is currently on a break. Cricketer’s pictures in Kazakhstan went viral among the first fans.
