Look at the Storm Look to bounce against the spark of recession

The Seattle Storm continues the three-game road swing on Tuesday when they visit Los Angeles Sparks for the first meeting of 2025 teams.
Seattle (6-5) began his road trip with a latdown on Saturday-after digging a hole of 22 points, fell 76–70 in Golden State. The loss came on the heels of the storm, handing over to Minnesota, which was the only loss of the campaign last Wednesday.
“There is some disappointment, because we were doing a lot of stuff [at Golden State] Citing the 16 turnover of Seattle, Alisha Clarke of the Storm said, “This was not a specialty.” These are the initial tests for us when you are on the road and things become difficult. How are you going to answer? I am proud of the way we fought at least back. ,
In Los Angeles for the last night of the Commissioner Cup Play, Seattle ranked between WNBA for turnover in 14.1 per competition. Meanwhile, sparks are producing 13 takeaets per game. All this is less than three teams.
Less-turnover rates contribute to Los Angeles (4-8), with 10th in defense scoring with 86.0 points per game.
Sparks have scored at least 88 points in five of their last seven matches, including the worst time in Minnesota on Saturday 101-78.
Los Angeles lagged behind 32 points in Halftime and left 41-72 shooting (56.9 percent) from the floor for the game.
Sparks coach Lynn Roberts pointed to the performance of Emma cannon from the bench as a positive outdated by Minnesota. Veteran’s season-hai 14 points since September 2023 marked the first double-point performance of the cannon when she was a member of Indiana fever.
“When my number is called, I just want to come in and do what I can do,” the cannon said. “When the coach puts me in, I just try to be aggressive and when my colleagues find me, I try to shoot a 3-pointer.”
The cannon has produced two 3-pointers in each of the last two matches, including a 97–89 win in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The game included a career-high 30-point effort from Ricia Jackson, which has come with 48 points in the last two matches.
Jackson recently re -included the spark lineup after maintaining a convention last month.
Their contributions add a fourth primary scoring option to complement Calci Plum (20.9 PPG), Deerica Hambi (17.5) and Azura Stevens (13.3).
Seattle leaned to its own quarter of its aggressive production wholesale, which was highlighted with 18.1 points per game of experienced skiler Digins and 15.6 Nenka Ogwumic.
