It is common for any team to bounce back from loss.

Minnesota twins know this feeling, although it may be a bit unfamiliar. Minnesota will try to overcome his first loss since May 2 when he welcomes the Cleveland Guardian to start a three-game series on Monday night in Miniapolis.

Twins ended their 13-game winning streak with a 5–2 defeat against Milwauki Broovers on Sunday afternoon. Royce Lewis hit almost a game-tying home run, but was robbed in the eighth by the Brucers Center’s fielder Jackson Chauriyo.

Now, twins will return home to take a top rival in Guardians.

“A wonderful run in the last two weeks,” said the twin manager Rokko Baldelli. “I had to tell people that after the game (Sunday).

“A lot of work is to be done, and I told them that we are scratching the surface as this year.

Meanwhile, Cleveland is eager to snap the four-game losing streak as it travels north.

Guardians are trying to overcome the three-game chain against host Cincinnati Reds, including 3–1 on Sunday. Cleveland first lost the closing of its series against Visiting Bruers on last Wednesday.

Guardian manager Stephen Vogt said that he liked his team as he traveled north for a series against twins.

“I thought our pitching was very good over the weekend, outside a couple home run balls,” Vogt said. “I think it was really a weekend story. They got some big hits and we did not. Disappointing weekend, no doubt. Three games that you think you could win that you didn’t.”

Cleveland left-handed Logan Alan (2-2, 3.70 ERA) will try to snap his team’s skid. Alan is trying to build one of his best beginnings of the season in which he limited Bruers to zero runs for a 2–0 win on three hits in six innings on Tuesday.

Alan has made three debut against twin children in his career. He is initially 2–0 with 2.04 ERA, and he has hit 14 batsmen in 17 2/3 innings.

The Minnesota series opener will compete with the right-handed Bailey Ober (4–1, 3.72). Ober has been coming from the back-to-back-back no-dictionary since losing to the season opener against St. Louis Cardinals on March 30, but is trying to win his fifth direct win.

The 29 -year -old Ober has 40 strikes in 48 1/3 innings in the season. He is 3–2 with 2.05 ERA in nine careers, which begins against The Guardian.

The twins expected to see more progression from the third basman Lewis, which failed to see a spring training injury (left hamstring stress) for more than a month. Lewis gave a belt to a single homer on Sunday, but chose themselves to not help the team maintain their winning streak.

Baldelli said that Lewis was going in the right direction.

Baldelli said, “He is circling himself in the form.” “He looks really twitch in the plate. It looks like the bat is actually a whistle through the zone. I think he feels good just looking at his ways and swings.”
