“Lion of India …” Virat Kohli should retire after ‘proving a point in England’

Former cricketers asked Virat Kohli to delay in retiring from Test cricket.
As Virat Kohli is probably a loud growing from Test cricket in the atmosphere, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has filed a passionate petition for a 36-year-old man who takes a final shot to reconsider and take a final shot on pride in England. He called Kohli a lion of cricket, and wants to ‘prove a point’ in the tests again before Kohli retires.

The former batsman gave similarities with Kohli’s victorious Swansong in the 2024 T20 World Cup and urged him to sign off in similar fashion in tests. Despite not playing T20 International regularly, Kohli decided to push for the T20 World Cup. He played a match winning innings in the final and gave a complete stop over his T20i career.
Test cricket needs Virat Kohli
While BCCI is reportedly trying to convince Kohli to delay his decision, the number outlines his height: 9,230 runs from 123 tests at 46.85 over 30 centuries. In England, he has scored 1,096 runs in 17 matches – in two centuries.
Although his appearance is submerged with just one Test ton since July 2023, his presence on England’s tour of England may be significant-especially after Rohit Sharma’s retirement.
