Minnesota links have won all their seven games this season. Despite the correct records of the team, links players insist that they can – and – should do better.
When they give a tip against Phoenix mercury on Tuesday night in Miniapolis, they will focus on playing more continuously in four quarters.
Links guard Curtney Williams said that he and his companions were not happy after he followed 52-51 in his most recent game. Minnesota won the Golden State 35-23 in the second half.
“Sometimes, it seems that we accept things,” Williams said. “We have to stop doing this. We cannot be the second half team.”
This will be the second game between links and mercury this season. The teams met at Phoenix on Friday, when Links thanked Natasha Hidman for tiebreaking with 5.5 seconds for a 74–71 victory.
Minnesota star Neeffa Kolier (knee) excluded the competition, while Phoenix Standout Elisa Thomas (left calf) also missed the game.
Despite injuries to top players Kahlih Copper (Knee) and Thomas, Phoenix has begun 5–2. Mercury signed a difficulty contract to East-Atlanta Dream Guard Haley Jones on Sunday, to help fill the zero released from the injuries of others.
Mercury coach Nat Tibbets said that he was proud of his players to adopt adverse conditions.
“We have already had to deal with injuries in the season,” said the tibes. “In the long run, you try to turn it into a positive, and it’s going to help us under the line.”
Phoenix has demonstrated one of the reasons for winning Sato Sabli. The 27 -year -old forward is 21.3 points in this season and 8.1 rebound average. He had 26 points and 11 boards against Minnesota on Friday.
Thomas ranks second on Mercury with 15.2 points per game. Monon Akoa Makani (9.7 points per game) and Kitija Laksa (8.7) are out of the top four scorers.
Links are headed by Coliere, which is 26.3 points and 8.3 rebound average. He also has a team-high 2.3 theft per game, and he is second in the team with 1.3 blocks per competition.
The Minnesota also depends on Kayla McBrid (17 points per game), Williams (15) and Alana Smith (11.3). Jessica Shepard is with the next 8.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
Kolier said that Links are happy with their undefeated beginnings, but they know that they are able to reach their lofty aspirations for the season.
“The fact is that we know what to do and we are not going out and are doing it, it’s extremely disappointing,” said Kolier. “Coaches cannot go out and do it for us. We have to take responsibility for it. … We just need to do it for four quarters.”
