Scotland is credited as the birthplace of golf, but PGA Tour stars do not play too much Scottish-style golf until they cross the pond for two weeks every July.

After spending most of the time of the year to barrel the balls under the tree-line fairways and to avoid water dangers, the world’s best players, Jannesis Scottish are ready for the Scottish Open-the forearm of the Agley Week Open Championship-Jahn Link Links Day and a different set of skills are required.

A stacked field consisting of top five players in the official world golf rankings will be closed at the Rainsense Club in North Bervik, Scotland on Thursday.

World No. 1 Scotty Chefler said this week, “I learned from a young age how to do flight shots and hit all different types of shots,” “When we come here, everything opens for us. I get to use all the goods that I did as a child. … It is less about the basic things and how to find out how you are going to get the balls near the balls, and all the other is going to find the balls, Is.”

Markers of Link Golf include Bumper Fairway Topography, Pot Bunker, Lack of Trees and Generally a seaside. It is not that American players are not used, and while the PGA tour now co-corresponds with the Scottish DP World Tour, only one American has won the event in the last nine years (Xander Schauffle, 2022).

Last year was special for Robert McIntire, who became the first Scotsman to win the tournament after Colin Montgomery in 1999. He dropped the Australian veteran Adam Scott out of a stroke, winning the final hole with a 22 -foot beardi put.

This was Macintyre’s second PGA tour win, the first six weeks later in the RBC Canadian Open. And he added the US Open to resume this June, when a Sunday allegation fielded him to another position behind JJ Spon.

At his pre-tournament press conference on Wednesday, McIntair recalled the beginning of his 2019 tournament, when he was associated with Rory McLero and Ricky Fauler for the first two rounds.

“The veins were incredible,” he said.

Now his ranking has increased to number 14 in the world.

McIntire said, “It is real to know that the path I have gone and the results I have,” McIntire said. “As a child is growing up, you kill puts to win the greens, and I mean to actually be in the tournament and really the possibility of living them is the possibility that I can ask for everyone.”

For the 2023 Scottish Open Champion McLero, it will be an important week of preparation for the Open Championship at Royal Portrash in its original Northern Ireland.

After a bang start for its season, Mcilroy had a forgetful PGA championship and missed the RBC Canadian open cut while being addicted to a separate driver. He has returned upwards, chasing the top -20 finish at the US Open with T6 at the Travelers Championship.

“Logically, as the golf tournament goes, it may not be easy,” McClayoy said. “You live on the site. The range is really good. The course is sufficiently gentle that you don’t think you are beating before the open championship. I think it’s all together, it makes it for a recipe for a very good golf tournament.”
