Lindy Rough in Sabers Finale vs Flyers gives 900th win

Ryan McLeod scored a goal and two assistance to host Buffalo Sabers on Philadelphia Fliers on Thursday at a regular season concluding regular season for both teams.

The victory was the 900th in the coaching career of Buffalo Bench Boss Lindi Rough, who became the fifth NHL coach to achieve that milestone.

Alex Toch, Jack Quin and JJ Peterka scored a goal and set another, Pethan Kreb also long and James Reymer made 21 saves for Sabers (36–39–7, 79 points).

Philadelphia Ruki Matwei Michkov scored twice to extend his team-Agni goal to 26 in the season. He was also assisted.

Tyson Foster scored his ninth goal in his last nine matches and a support pair. Bobby Brink also had a target and a support and Alexi Kolosov separated 26 shots for flyers (33–39–10, 76 points).

Peterka converted a two-one crowd before converting two-one-one crowd from Philadelphia at 1:24 of the second period with a 4–1 lead.

Mishkov, who scored from the high slot with the remaining 4:51 in the first period, loosened a loose Pak from the door at 7:11 of the second.

Foster read the Centrling Feed of Noah Kates to Reimar for Reimar, which was in just 15 seconds in the third period to trim the hole of the Saber. However, Reimar denied Fliers Captain Scene Caturier to the Point-Black range, so that the remaining 11:38 can be maintained with the remaining 11:38 in this period.

McLeod scored in an empty net with 48 seconds remaining in the third period. This goal proved to be important because the brink was tall for those flying with 19 seconds.
