Liberty hit 90 again, be perfect with win over Valkyries

New York Liberty went on a wire-to-wire in a 95-67 win over the Golden State Volcaries behind the 24-point performance by Breena Stewart on Tuesday night.
It was the fourth 90-point game of Liberty in a line to start the season, a shy of the WNBA record.
New York (4–0) won through the ball movement with three players, with at least five assistance, and on Saturday, a piece of Liberty game against Indiana fever, 30–16 was assessed.
Natasha Claude led Liberty with 10 assistance, but struggled with a 2–9 shooting from the floor, while Jonquel Jones picked up his third double-dobbal in four matches with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Away from the bench, Marine Johannes scored 18 points with the second quarter performance, with four 3-pointers in six attempts. The aggressive burst came at a time when the first quarter began to find his shooting stroke, where the first year WNBA side shot 12.5 percent from the floor.
Liberty started the game on 22–3 runs in the first 7:01 of the initial quarter. New York started moving through speed and ball.
However, the Golden State (2–2) excluded its Strid and New York in the second and third quarter from 41–40, but had already been damaged.
A part of the bounce by Vulkiris was 15–2 runs in 4:10 in the third quarter, but it woke up Liberty for the fourth and New York to win the Golden State 28–16.
Veronica Burton of Golden State had 13 points and led the team with six assistance. Former Liberty Guard Kayla Thornton scored 13 points and six rebound couples, Tempie Phagbanel scored 11 points and Kate Martin scored 10 10 points for Valciries.
Prior to the game, Thornton also received its 2024 WNBA Championship Ring, an honor she was playing with Liberty in the previous season. Home return to Thornton was almost a small when she took a hard hit in a hard hit 3:33 game on a screen. Thornton left the game moment -out but returned to play.
Both teams play again on Thursday. The Golden State hopes that the two were injured in the lineup after practicing the two before Tuesday’s play, but the two were rejected.
