Diamondback on Friday used five relievers in the 14–11 defeat to the Dojers, with the most effective bunch with Meena when he retired 3 2/3 scorer innings and 11 of the 12 batsmen, which he faced.
Meena’s 2025 began after making an appearance in the previous season.
Mantipali, 34, was an all-star in 2022, but he struggled in later sessions and was sent down with 15.95 ERAs in eight demonstrations last month. In the eight major league sessions, it is 11–13 with 4.42 ERA in 254 appearance (five beginnings).
This season was 2–0 with Mantipali 3.00 ERA in six outings in Reno.
