San Francisco veterans on Wednesday placed Catcher Patrick Bailey in the 10-day injured list due to neck tension and selected the contract of Catcher Logan Porter from Triple-e Sacramento.
Bailey’s move was retrospective on Sunday. On May 29, at the age of 26, Bailey played on Saturday, lasting 3–2 domestic victory over Atlanta Braves. He is batting. 185 (30 -for -162) with a home run and 16 RBI in 56 games.
For his career, Belly is batting.
The veterans selected Belly 13th in total in the 2020 MLB draft from the North Carolina state.
The 29 -year -old Porter played in 11 matches for the Cansus City Royals in 2023 and batted with one Homer and three RBI. 194 (6 -for -31).
San Francisco originally bought a porter from Royals in June 2024 and released them next month. He signed with New York Met’s, and became a free agent in November, when he was signed by veterans.
The veterans also nominated Shortstop Oslivis Basbe for assignment. The Basbe was on a 40-man roster, but did not appear in the MLB game since 2023, while Tampa Bays with rays. He played for Sacramento in 53 matches this season and batted with four home runs and 20 RBI .242.
