Labron James will become the first player to play in 23 sessions in NBA history on returning to Los Angeles with Los Angeles in 2025-26.
James, the leading scorer of NBA career, is using his $ 52.6 million player option for the upcoming season, Clutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told ESPN on Sunday.
It is not immediately known that 40 -year -old James wishes to play from the upcoming season.
“Labron wants to compete for a championship,” Paul told ESPN. “He knows that Lams is building for the future. He understands, but he all gives importance to a realistic opportunity to win.
“We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future. We want to make the best evaluation for Lebron at this level in our life and career. He wants to make every season, and Laks has understood that she understands that she is assistant and what is the best for him.”
James, who has played in 1,562 regular-Sector Games, is 50 shy from the NBA record of Robert Parish, a member of the braking hall of fame.
James received 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assistance in 70 games in 2024-25 to rank top 22 in each category.
He is a 21-time all-star, four times League MVP and four times NBA Champion.
James entered NBA as 18 -year -old after Cleveland Caviers selected the number 1 in the 2003 NBA draft.
