LB Shak Thompson Bill, Reunite with Scene McDermot

Buffalo Bills on Tuesday extended its defensive duct by signing lineback Shak Thompson to a year contract.

The financial terms of the deal for Thompson were not disclosed, which will be re -connected with the head coach Scene McDermot.

Thompson was selected by Carolina with the 25th overall pick of the 2015 NFL draft. He spent the first two sessions of his NFL career under McDermot, who was a defensive coordinator of the panthers since 2011-16 before the bill became the head coach in 2017.

The injuries limited four matches (torn Akilis) in 2024 and two games (broken ankles) in 2023.

31 -year -old Thompson has recorded 752 tackles, 12 sacks, four forced fambles and three interception in 123 Games (112 beginning) in his career, all with Carolina.

He helped the panthers reach Super Bowl 50 during his fraudulent season and climbed the fourth place in the team’s history, overtaking Luke Kuchali (1,092), Thomas Davis (1,077) and Mike Mike (771).
