Late goes 1 raise jets on blues in 1

Kyle Connor scored a tie-breaking goal with 1:36 to help the Vinypeg Jets rally to win 5-3 against St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of her first round Western conference series on Saturday evening.

Connor scored on one-time from the bottom of the right circle to give the jets a 4-3 lead. Adam Lori sealed it with an empty-net goal with 53 seconds.

Each of each of Connor and Mark Sheffifel had one goal and two aids, Jet Anderson-Dolla and Alex IFPALO also scored, Josh Morrisci made two assistance and Connor Hellboak made 14 saves for jets, who won the President’s trophy for the best records in NHL during regular weather.

Robert Thomas, Oscar Sundakwist and Jordan Quu scored, Justin Folk had two assistance, and Jordan Binington made 21 saves for St. Louis, which proceeded 13–2–1 in the last month of the regular session, to earn a second wild card from the Western Conference.

Blues took a 3–2 lead in the third period before the jets tied it at 9:18 pm.

Scheifele passed the puck from under the round line on the edge of the crease and moved the Paks away from the net.

Thomas gave the blues a 1-0 lead at 9:31 in the first period, when he scored with a wrist shot from the left circle during the power play.

Vinypeg was on a power play when Skifel got a pass about the goal line and about the edge of the net. He tried to pass the coal perfeti in the opposite direction, but Puck St. Louis Defenseman went away from the stick blade of Ryan Sutter and in his net to tie it to 1 at 13:38.

Jets took the lead 1:24 when Anderson-Dolol defeated a point shot in the net 2–1 to 15:02 at 2-1.

St. Louis tied it at 2 pm at 18:10, when a blocked shot went to the slot and the beautifully shot on the left shoulder of the halbebik and on top of the net.

St. Louis scored on his second power play, when Kiru hit the net over the right circle for a 3–2 lead at 1:13 of the second period.
