Last round of US Open resume after long weather delay

Oakmont, PA. – The last round of the US Open was suspended on Sunday for about an hour and 40 minutes due to heavy rains at the Omont Country Club.
Rain gear and umbrellas came out in half an hour, which was a pioneer for the official delay at 4:01 pm, as the storm was raised, many greens around the course became clever with rain water and became unexpected.
Groundskeepers equipped with squez prepared the course for the competition as the rain became light, and the major championship started again before 5:40 pm
At the time of delay, Sam Burns organized a-shot lead under 2 under and 1 respectively on Adam Scott of Australia. The two players were more than 2 through seven holes. England’s Tierel Haton and Norway’s Victor Hoveland were ranked third in 1 over.
