Kyle Tucker

Chicago cub star outfielder Kyle Takar on Sunday left the game of Sunday against Cincinnati Reds in the fifth innings and was later diagnosed as a jam right ring finger. It is considered day -day.
X-rays were negative.
“I feel all right,” Tucker said after Chicago’s 7-3 win. “The hand got a little jam, or a little swollen, but obviously we got tomorrow, so hopefully it seems a bit better after going to Washington.”
If nothing else, Chicago dodged what a significant injury could be.
“Not very worried,” the cub’s manager Craig Counsel later said. “I am optimistic that this is the most, one or two days, as soon as the swelling decreases. It is just a sprain finger. He batted another and it was just a little uncomfortable. So with the lead, we push him out of there.”
Tucker hurt the first innings. He was killed by a pitch from Reds Starter Nick Martinez on his right leg, which was thrown on a second basis in an attempt to steal. Slipping the headfresp in another, his right hand was caught under him and his helmet was closed, finally a slight cut on his nose bridge. Tucker will initially remain in the game.
The theft caught stopped a streak of 29 consecutive successful stolen bases for Tucker, which returned by September 2023. He has 16 theft in this season.
In the third innings, Tucker hit a ground-root double on a ball, stuck in the right area in Ivy and later scored on Pete Crow-Armstrong’s single, the first out of four runs scored the innings to take the innings by 4–0. Tucker caught Tyler Tyler Stephenon to end the fourth innings before leaving the game.
Tucker is hitting 12 domestic runs and 39 with RBI. 284 this season. He is a three-time all-star.
