Kyle Larsen keeps Chris Busher on top again, this time to the NASCAR Cup pole in Canasus

Kansas city, kan.- If Chris Buecher Kylle Larsen was not tired of Kylle Larsen after last year’s record-close finish, he should definitely be after Saturday’s qualifying session on the 1.5-mile track.
To score a run during the time testing, he asked to run “a perfect-firing lap,” Larsen-Larsen-Edvent Health 400 (3 am on FS1 at 3 am ET, MRN and SeriusXM NASCAR Radio) knocked the shelter.
Larsen scorched the intermediate speedway with a lap at 183.730 mph (29.391 seconds), beating Beisture (183.374 mph) for the top early location for 0.057 seconds. It was a very widespread difference, speaking relatively, which was Larsen at the end of the Roush Fenway Keselowski driver at the end of the last year’s spring race in Kansas.
The Busch Light Pole Award was the first of Larsen’s season, the first in Kansas and the 22nd of his career. Pole is ranked 14th in Canasus for Chevrolet and seventh in this season for auto manufacturer.
“The qualifying lap really felt good,” Larsen said. “You are looking at SMT (data), and you can see that the drivers are starting to catch it easily in the easy wide open (turn) 1 and 2. (Turn) 3 and 4, some people were getting tight.
“Beureure was capable of running a good 3 and 4. I had a plan on the line that I wanted to run and just tried to match it with throttle, and fortunately, everything was very good. Everything felt very good. My balance was really nice, I felt as if I hit my marks and came to speed through 3 and 4, so it was an ideal-muscle lap.”
In the last spring race, Larsen finished Edge Baschar for less than 4 inches. The Busher was again not lost on the poll winner, being a victim of speed in number 5 hendric motorcycles Chevrolet.
“This is definitely irony and really good,” Larsen said. “I think it adds to the story line of what happened last year and perhaps creates anticipation for the race (on Sunday). I will not think about it, I think, when we are roaming under caution, but, yes, it is irony and funny and calm at the same time.”
Christopher Bell (183.268 mph) was the third fastest in time tests, lower than two posts from his fourth straight Kansas Speedway Poll.
Tyler Radic finished fourth at a speed of 183.150 mph, followed by the winner of Texas last Sunday at a speed of 182.871 mph.
Tye Gibbs, William Bayran, Daniel Suarez, Chase Elliot and Ryan Blan will start from 10th to sixth position respectively.
Both Kyle Busch and Josh Berry hit the outside wall during their qualifying laps and will start from the 35th and 38th place in the Sunday race.
