Kurt Busch, Randy Lajoi New Naskar Hall of Fame Hopful

Kurt Busch and Randy Lajoi already voted two of NASCAR’s 75 greatest drivers, for the first time on ballot to enter the racing series hall of fame, on Monday, with candidates announced on Monday.

Classes of 2026 include 10 on modern era voting: Busch, Lajoi, Greg Bifle, Neil Bont, Tim Brever, Jeff Burton, Randy Dorton, Harry Gant, Harry Gant, Harry Hyde and Jack Sprag.

Busch, 46, won the NASCAR Cup Series Championship in 2004, the first year circuit went into the 10-race playoff format when it was called Chase. The native of Las Vegas started 34 times in 776 in his 23 -year cup series career, including Detona 500 in 2017. He also captured 28 poles and won several races in XFINITY and truck chain competition.

The 63-year-old Lajoi called the Xfinity Series in 1996 and 1997, and registered 15 wins and nine poles in the 350-start career. In 1985, former Bush North Series champion Lajoi also performed a vibrant in the world of motorsports safety through its long-running racing-racing-company.

Busch and Lajoie were voted in the list of the largest drivers in 2023.

The title winning crew head Jake Elder, who was on the Hall of Fame Bellet in 2021, makes a return appearance on the pioneer ballot for those five nominees, whose career started 60 years ago or more. Apart from this, Rendric, Banjo Mathews, Larry Philips and Bob Welbourne are for considering last year’s vote.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Promoter Ha “Hampi” Wheeler, 86, has been nominated for the Landmark Award for outstanding contribution to NASCAR for a long time. Other enrolled persons Alvin Hawkins, Lesa France Kennedy, Dr. Joseph is Matioi and Les Richter.

A voting panel will be open on May 20 in Charlotte, Neck, with fan voting in the afternoon on 18 afternoon. Online voting fans will be counted as a vote with the results of the collective polling panel.
