Kurt Busch, Harry Gant, Re Handrick voted for NASCAR Hall in ’26

The NASCAR Hall of Fame 2026 would include Kurt Busch, Harry Gant and Re Handric, the hall announced on Tuesday.

Busch and Gantt were selected from the modern era voting, each had 61 percent of the votes. Jeff Burton, Harry Hyde and Randy Dorton were the next-highest finishers who did not cut.

Handrick was voted on the pioneer ballot with 31 percent of the votes. Bob Welborn finished second.

The 46 -year -old Bush built a hall on the ballot in his first year. He was the Cup Series Champion in 2004 and won 34 times in the cup series, including two Crown Jewel Race: 2010 Coca-Cola 600 and 2017 Detona 500.

85 -year -old, Gantt followed 21 wins in the XFINITY series with 18 wins in the Cup series, including 1984 and 1991.

Gant also set a record of the oldest driver to win the Cup series race (52 years, eight months) when he strongly in Michigan International Speedway in 1992.

Handric, who died in 1990, enjoyed a 36 -year -old motorcysters career and was known as “Sri Amended” across the south for his successes in the revised stock car racing. He is credited with more than 700 win in the revised racing and late model sportsman series.

Busch, Gant and Hendrick were all nominated in the list of 75 biggest drivers of NASCAR for the 75th anniversary of the league in 2023.

NASCAR also recognized the Landmark Award for outstanding contribution to NASCAR, former chairman and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway, Ha “Hampi” Wheeler.

The 2026 class will be included in Charlot on 23 January.
