KSCA Secretary and Treasurer resign on “moral” basis

The Karnataka State Cricket Association has earlier said that it had sought permission from the government to organize a festive ceremony at the Vidhan Sauda.
Following the tragic stampede in Bengaluru during RCB’s IPL trophy celebrations, a significant development has occurred, with Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) secretary A. Shankar and treasurer E. S. Jairam resigning from their posts. The duo submitted their resignations to KSCA president Raghuram Bhat on Thursday night, citing moral responsibility for the incident that left 11 people dead and over 50 injured.
