Kohli and Sehwag register for DPL 2025 auction

DDCA has added two new teams and the second version of DPL is expected to begin in late July.
The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 player auction is scheduled for July 5. The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has added two new teams, so a lot more players will go under the hammer. The entire list of registered players isn’t out yet. But two big names have popped out. Virat Kohli’s nephew and Virendra Sehwag’s son.
Virat Kohli’s nephew registers for the DPL auction
Aaryaveer Kohli is the son of Virat’s elder brother Vikar and trains under his childhood coach Raj Kumar Sharma at the West Delhi Cricket Academy. Aaryaveer was a registered player for Delhi Under-16 last season, which means he was among the 30 players who were part of the squad.
Funnily, Sehwag’s son is also named Aaryavir. He’s a year older than Kohli’s nephew and has already earned some repute. The 17-year-old has already represented the Delhi Under-19 team and made the headlines for his 297-run knock against Meghalaya. But he isn’t the only Sehwag who has registered for the DPL 2025 auction.
Vedant Sehwag, his younger brother, is also part of the initial draft. Aaryavir is a batter, while his 15-year-old brother, an off-spinner by trade, could also go under the hammer.
