KL Rahul on Sunday slammed a stunning century for Delhi’s capitals during the IPL 2025 encounter against Gujarat Titans. It was Rahul’s 5th IPL century and he remained unbeaten on 112 runs in just 65 delivery with the help of 14 fours and 4 sixes. As a result, Rahul became the second Indian batsman to score 5 or more IPL centuries. The only other Indian batsman was Virat Kohli to achieve tricks, who have scored 8 IPL centuries so far. Overall, it was the 7th T20 hundred for Rahul. Rahul also became the first cricketer to score for centuries for three different franchises in the IPL.

Rahul shines his promotion for the role of openers by taking out a royal 112 and taking Delhi’s capitals on a large scale in his 20 overs against the Titans of Gujarat.
On a slight slow pitch, Rahul was in his clean and ancient best in the strokeplay, especially when 112 was not out of 65 balls to hit through the line – his fifth IPL hundred. His magnificent knock included 14 fours and four sixes as Rahul also became the first batsman for the IPL centuries for three different teams – it was earlier done for Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super veterans.
Apart from being the main driving force of the team with the bat, Rahul also completed the innings well so that DC posted a total, which could challenge GT’s top-order. He received a lot of support from other batsmen-Abishek Porl with 19-ball 30, Skipar Axar Patel remained unbeaten on 21 runs in two fours and six in his 16-genders and 21 runs off Triston Stabs.
The first was pushed into batting, Rahul found two limitations to open Mohammad Sirj – a deep third man through a Missfield, while the other came from the previous point. FAF Do Plessis struggled for time against GT’s pacers and reached far away from Arshad Khan, not to stop Rahul.
