Rahul and his wife – actress Athiya Shetty – became a parent in March 2025 and the Indian cricket team wicket -keeper Batter has now revealed that he got the name somewhere and has a google. However, he said that it took him some time to convince Athiya about the name. Rahul said in an incident, “It was a name on which I was just stumbled. We had known through books, which were sent by some close friends. Then I Gugala and checked Iwara what the meaning is.”
Rahul said, “I loved it when I saw it. It took me some time to convince Athiya. But his parents and my parents loved it. Then he fell in love with that name,” Rahul said.
