KL Rahul became the fastest Indian batsman to score 8000 runs in T20 cricket, Virat Kohli’s record was shattered. On Sunday, Rahul reached a stunning milestone during the IPL 2025 encounter between Delhi Capital and Gujarat Titans. This record was earlier by Kohli, who scored 8000 runs in 243 innings. However, Rahul achieved only 224 innings and in this process, he became the first Indian batsman to score 8000 T20 runs in 230 innings. Overall, Chris Gayle tops the list with 213 innings, while Babar Azam ranks second with 218 innings. Rahul is currently third in the elite list.
