KKR wins despite scoring 111 score of the lowest score in IPL after winning Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings made history on Tuesday as Shreyas Iyer -led side successfully defended a low score of 111 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2025 match in Mulanpur. To keep things in perspective, it has been the lowest total rescue by any IPL team in the history of the tournament starting in 2008. When PBK was out for 111, the whole thing was how soon KKR would reach the target. But half the way in the innings, tables raced for four wickets as Yuzvendra Chahal. Earlier, the lowest total rescue in IPL so far was 116/9 by Chennai Super Kings in the 2009 version.
