Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings paid tribute to the Indian armed forces at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday. Ahead of the start of play in the KKR vs CSK clash, both teams lined up for the national anthem. The gesture comes after the Indian government’s Operation Sindoor against terror forces.

The crowd chanted along, showcasing their support for the country’s army. Following the gesture. KKR owner Juhi Chawla and mentor Dwayne Bravo rang the bell as the umpires walked onto the ground.
