KKR and PBK IPL 2025 Clash pay tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack

KKR and PBKS honored the Pahalgam terror attack with a silent Eden Garden bell before their IPL 2025 Clash.
The veteran Eden Gardens, known as ‘Mecca of Indian Cricket’, stalled in a powerful moment of silence on Saturday before the IPL 2025 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings.
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) paid a tribute to honor the victims of the recent terror attack at Kashmir’s initiative, established a serious and respectable tone for the evening.
Eden Garden Bell Gets Chup
Eden Bell kept quiet as a mark of respect for the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) took this heartfelt decision, which usually makes a rare, emotional moment in the vibrant Eden Gardens.
Prior to the IPL 2025 confrontation between KKR and PBKS, players, officers and more than 60,000 spectators saw a minute’s silence. The stadium, known for its roaring energy, still fell completely. Messages of remembrance burnt the digital screen, while fans were standing with folded hands, respecting the lost life beyond the enthusiasm of the game.
Cab president Snehish Ganguly said, “Eden Gardens have always stood with the nation. Today, Cricket takes a back seat. We are here to express our grief and salute the martyrs and victims of the Pahgam attack.”
