Kings aims to record in Finale vs. Flames for franchise win

Los Angeles Kings wrapped a new franchise record for victory and to increase their winning streak into five matches, when they wrap the regular season hosting the Calgary fire on Thursday night.
The Kings (48-24-9, 105 points) are the second seed in the Stanley Cup playoffs in the Pacific Division and in the first round there will be home-i-i-i Ice against their division-device Edmonton Oilrs.
Los Angeles on Tuesday night wrapped a brief two-game road trip with a 6–5 win over Crackon in Seattle, with a franchise record for victory in a season (48) during the 2015-16 season.
“I love winning,” said Kings coach Jim Hillar. “It was a hard back-to-back. We had some major players out of the lineup, it did not mean that there was nothing for us in the standing, as far as the movement, and we won the hockey game. That’s what I like to win.”
Samuel Helenius scored twice, and Adrian Kemppe scored a goal and as a support Kings improved 8–2–0 in their final 10. Alex Laferrere, Alex Turkote, and Warren Foegley also scored, while Kevin Fiala and Vladislav Gavricov contributed two assistants.
This season David Ritich made 29 saves to improve 33 matches in 33 matches with a .889 and 2.77 goal average 16-13-2.
In 50 sports, Starter Darcy Kumper is with 31–11-7 with .922 Save percentage and 2.02 GAA.
Kampay pace the Kings with 73 points in 81 matches and shared the team’s goal-scoring lead (35) with Fiala.
Flames for Los Angeles are looking to complete a sweep of the season series against Kings. Calgary has won both meetings between the two clubs this season-3–1 on November 11 and 2–1 on January 11.
The Stanley Cups removed from the playoffs, Calgary (40–27–14, 94 points) won three directly and 6–1–3 in its final 10.
On Tuesday, the flames wrapped a three-game home stand with a 5–4 shootout win on Vegas Golden Nights.
Morgan Frost scored twice, including the shootout winner, and Nazam Qadri has a support pair for a goal and flames, which was officially removed from the playoff controversy despite the victory.
Mikel Baikalund and Adam Klapka also scored, while Matt Coronato pair of assistants.
“Nobody believed in us at the beginning of the year,” Baikalund said. “We used to believe in ourselves from the day starting in the training camp from day 1. We understood that everyone was buying and believing and when everyone buys and believes, you can get some big things.
“Unfortunately, we did not make it in the playoffs, but we fought in all ways till the end. We were so flexible throughout the year and it says a lot about this group. We were playing for each other throughout the year.”
Dustin Wolf saved 38 to improve 29-16-8 with .910 Save percentage and started 2.64 GAA in 53 this season.
Along with two assistants, the six-market of Coronato has seven points (four goals, three aids) during the strink. Qadri’s Team-Living 33 goals are the best career for further flames.
