Kagiso rabada, banned to use entertaining medicine, ready to return to IPL 2025 against GT …

According to Espncricinfo, South African Speedster Cagiso Rabada banned a month early to use a recreational drug during the SA20, less than three months. In a statement issued by South African Institute for Drug Free Sports (SAIDS), Rabada, who represented Mi Cape Town, confirmed that Rabada had failed a doping test after his stability against Durban Super veterans on 2 January.

29-year-old Tehit was informed about the decision on 1 April when he represented Gujarat Titans in the 18th edition of Cash-Rich Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. At that time, GT issued a statement stating that Rabda returned to South Africa “to deal with an important individual case” for a time limit without time.

According to Espncricinfo, Rabada said that Rabada has further participated in an education and awareness program to prevent drug abuse. They are expected to play immediately and may return to on-field action soon on Wednesday, when GT takes five-time champions to Mumbai Indians (MI).

There are examples when players have been assigned long -term suspensions, which depend on individual cricket boards. Last year, the Zimbabwe Cricket Board banned Wesley Madhavre and Brandon Mavuta for every four months and fined 50 percent of its salary for three months after positive testing for a recreational drug.

According to Espncricinfo, Cricket South Africa is unlikely to punish further on Rabada. On Saturday, Rabada issued a statement expressing regrets for his works.

“,, As I have mentioned, I returned to South Africa recently by participating in the IPL for personal reasons. It was due to an unfavorable analytical discovery for the use of one of my entertaining drugs,” Rabada said, according to ESPNcricinfo.
