Jeremy Doku performed a brilliant performance with a lot of support and made some help from the opposition as Manchester City on Thursday defeated Juventus 5–2 in a decisive match at Group G of Club World Cup in Orlando.
“We played well. I am happy with the victory,” said Doku. “Now we are eager to see who we are going to play against.”
Manchester City later learned that 16 enemies will be a round of Saudi Arabia, with a match in Orlando on Monday.
On a cross from Savinho, Defender Pierre Kalulu’s Gaf overtook his own keeper and put the city 2–1 in the 26th minute. Man City proceeded 2–1 to place the margin on a hash, when scored on a nine-minute mark, when Doku hit a brake in front of the net and found the top right corner.
Juventus’s Tun Copminers covered the score two minutes later, but this was the last sign of a close fight.
The victory was the first lump sum of Man City over Juventus since 1976.
