Baltimore Revenne released Kicker Justin Tucker, coming out of the worst season of his career amidst the league allegations of sexual misconduct.
“Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those examples. Given our current roster, we have taken a strict decision to release Justin Tucker,” Reverence Executive Vice President and General Manager Eric Dacosta said in a statement on Monday.
“Justin created many important and unforgettable moments in Revenne History.
The 35-year-old Tucker, a seven-time Pro bowler and a five-time all-first teamr, are the worst in their 13 seasons, with all the ravens. However, his issues are beyond the field.
He is accused of engaging in unfair practice with several women massage doctors. Sixteen women have accused Tucker of misconduct at an eight high-end spa in the Baltimore region since 2012-16. Tucker has publicly denied the allegations.
Team president Sashi Brown had earlier said that Revenne had not decided on the future of Takkar with the team until the investigation of NFL was completed.
However, Ravence spent the sixth round pick in the draft previous month before the previous month’s Arizona Kicker Tyler Loop, which reduced the future of Tucker in Baltimore.
