Jose Butler was stranded at 97, Virat Kohli’s record in the IPL of most centuries was missing by just three runs.

Gujarat Titans moved to the top of the IPL 2025 points table after chasing 204 with 7 wickets against Delhi’s capitals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. GT won the victory of Jose Butler, who stood at 97 off 54 balls, disappeared from a record-summer ton.

Exer Patel was the top scorer for DC with 39, but the cameo of Karun Nair, KL Rahul, Triston Stabs and Ashutosh Sharma helped DC in a stop-start innings. GT skipper Gill did not bowl Sai Kishore until Ishant Sharma struggled in the intense heat and could not bowl his full quota.

Meanwhile, Prasad Krishna caught the Orange Cap after a 14 -wicket race in the tournament after four wickets against DC.
