Russell received a warm response from fans and scored his second goal for Salt Lake (5–10–4, 19 digits). He returned after signing a one-year deal with Salt Lake in April, which was after 40 goals at the 196 regular-season games with Canasus City.

Russell opened the scoring by sending a header past Pulsakamp after receiving a long pass from Alexandros Catronis. After contacting from the back, Russell jumped to get the pass and operated his header from a close range in the upper corner of the net.
The Memo was unable to score on the pieces of the set in the 53rd and 54th minutes after Rodriguez, Thomi made a parked network.
Thomi received a ball from Manu Garcia in the area, slightly out of the box. Thomi then picked up a right-leg shot from the left side and the ball rose in the net after Cabral was deflected with his left hand.
After Russell exiting in the 65th, Salt Lake had a lot of scoring opportunities, especially when Cances City lost Jake Davis in another yellow card in the 82nd and had to play with the remaining 10 players.
In the 88th minute, Pulsakamp exited the box to save a kick on Zewear Gozo. In the second minute of the stoppage time, he denied a header of Dominic Markzuk.
Salt Lake had an open net in the sixth minute stop time when Gozo captured the box and was out of the Pulskamp position. But Gojo was unable to score when Jenson Miller, the defender of Census City, tried the left leg on the goal line.
