Johnny Bairstow, Richard Glison for MI, Mendis made her debut in knockout clash

Johnny Bairstow, who kept for Punjab Kings last season, returns to Mulanpur as an MI player for IPL 2025 eliminator.
Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans have designed with a host of change in their playing XIS for their IPL 2025 eliminator Clash. The major foreign star refused to be out due to national duty, both teams handed over their temporary replacement as they aim to remain in the competition. Johnny Bairstow and Richard Glison made their debut for MI, while Kusal Mendis converted Jose Butler to GT for Shubman Gill.
Titans of Gujarat play XI: Shubman Gill (C), Sai Sudhrson, Kusal Mendis (W), Shah Rukh Khan, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tiwariya, Rashid Khan, Ravisinivasan Sai Kishore, Gerald Koetzi, Mohammad Sirj, Prasad Krishna
Indian Indian XI plays: Rohit Sharma.
MI playing XI: Deepak Char ate out, Bairstow replaces Ryan Recllet
Mumbai Indians are one of the worst affected sides due to the revised schedule of IPL 2025, losing 4 players by national duty. Ryan Ricelton, Will Jack and Corbin Bosch are all unavailable. To add to his crises, Deepak Char also suffered an injury, in which he was dropped from the GT vs Mi game.
MI has since moved to the English pair Richard Glison and Johnny Bairstow to plug that difference. Raj Bawa also returns to XI. Bairsstow will probably open with Rohit Sharma, forming a blockbuster partnership. The experienced British painted for Punjab Kings last season and would have estimated the conditions on the proposal in Mulanpur.
GT Playing XI: No Kagiso Rabada, Kusal Mendis Jose Butler
Gujarat Titans have been very dependent on their top 3 in IPL 2025 and now lost Jose Butler in national duty. Former MI Star is the third biggest run-goldter for GT this season, scoring 538 runs in 13 innings. Butler was also a nominated wicket-keeper of Gill, there was a big difference in the side.
In his absence, GT is now planted in Kusal Mendis. Sri Lankan will slot the wicket-keeper Butler’s number 3 location and hope to count his chance. Mendis has created a great pair in international cricket for a few years and will expect to assist GT hunting for another title.
