Rishabh Pant eyes hat-trick of centuries
Rishabh Pant became only the second wicketkeeper to score twin centuries in a Test match. Now the left-hander could make it a hat-trick of centuries should he do well in Birmingham. Rahul Dravid scored a hat-trick of centuries in England in the 2002 series. The former India captain smashed 115 in Nottingham, followed by 148 at Leeds and a stunning 217 at The Oval. Rishabh in his last Test at Edgbaston scored 146 and 57 in 2022 and could replicate those heroics on current form.
Joe Root – Test cricket’s most successful catcher
Joe Root drew level with Rahul Dravid for the most catches as an outfielder in Test cricket. The England legend has 210 catches in 154 games, with Dravid having caught the same number in 164 Tests. One more catch will make the landmark his own and Root is almost certain to make it during the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.
