Joe Edel had three hits, including a pair of tape-pap domestic runs, and went into three as Los Angeles Angels held rallies with a four-run deficit to defeat Seattle Meriners 8-6 in California on Saturday night.

Angels tied it to 4 in the third, when Neto single-handed, moved to another location on an error, then scored on two-out error. The ward then scored on Taylor double to right.
Edel gave Los Angeles a 5–4 lead in the fourth with his 11th home run in the fourth, ranging from a 445-foot drive. Angels made it 6-4 in an innings later when the ward doubled the wall in the left centers to drive in Nolan Shanuel.
Seattle cut a 6–5 lead in the sixth when Miles Mastrobuni led a single, stole the second and scored on a single by Young.
Angels took the RBI single by Neto in the sixth with RBI singles and Edel in the seventh with RBI singles 8-5. Raley ended the scoring with his leading-league 26th homer in the ninth, for a 427-foot drive right-center.
