Jewel Lloyd drilled a tiebracing 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds on Friday night as the Las Vegas Aces won 75–72 on a visit to Washington mystics.
Las Vegas (2–1) scored the last nine points, after retreating 72–66 with 1:15 remaining after Z Melbourne. Jackie Young scored six straight points, including a pruning with 11.6 seconds on the clock to tie the game.
Kiah Stokes blocked the melbourne paste for the lead and Loyd changed the sports-winner through A’Ja Wilson to cap.
Young scored a game-hai 25 points for Las Vegas, while Chelsea Gray added 17. Wilson ended with 15 points, 12 rebounds and five assistance. Aces won despite hitting only 34.8 percent of their field goal efforts.
Sonia Citron scored 19 points for Washington (2–2), while Ruki Kiki Irifen added 17 points and 13 rebounds. Melbourne ended with 14 points and Sug Sutton kicked 10.

But mystic was able to create a team with a team’s effort that had balanced scoring and difficult defense. He led the first half of the first half, extended the margin at one point to 10 and took advantage of 42-33 for a break on Irafen’s mid-range jumper with 0.5 seconds.
Washington held a Las Vegas without a point for 3:22 before the third quarter and eventually established 54–42 cushions, when Melbourne caught a 3-pointer on a 3:47 mark.
