Jeremy Pena, Astro aims to start fast against Reds

The right-handed Hunter Brown (5–1, 1.67 ERA) is a setter for Houston on Friday. He recorded his fifth consecutive victory decision on Saturday, despite allowing Season-high three-hit runs on four hits with nine strikes in six innings in a win of 8–3 over Chicago White Sox.
Brown has started a quality in all seven shows this season, and he was 3–0 with more than 0.36 ERAs before facing white sox.
The 26 -year -old Detroit native has faced Reds once the first time, four hits and a sept 5, 2024, allowing a walk with six strikes, thrown six shutouts. He did not make factor in Astro’s decision to lose 1-0.
Right-arm Nick Martinez (1-3, 4.19 ERA) has an initial assignment for Reds. He faced Washington’s 4–1 defeat on Sunday after losing 4–1 to Cincinnati, despite the second consecutive quality start. He allowed one run on four hits with six strikes and no foot in six innings.
Reds is 1-6 out of seven of its seven in this season, with Martinez on 28 April against St. Louis Cardinals.
The 1488 ERA is 4–4 with a 1488 ERA on 14 career performance (nine start) against Martinez Astro. In his latest presence against Houston, he allowed four runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks with seven strikes in 5 2/3 innings in 5 2/3 innings in a domestic run of 12-5 on September 4, 2024.
Reds announced on Thursday that they would put Ekka Right-Hand Hunter Green with a grade 1 right groin strain in the 15-day injured list. He retained the injury from the fourth innings on the last night, rotating three scoreless frames in Reds’s 4–3 win over Atlanta Braves.
Green was not determined to pitch during the series in Houston, but the club considered its MRI results relatively positive.
“It’s not terrible,” Cincinnati’s manager Terry Frankona said before his club’s 5-4, 11-inning defeat in Atlanta on Thursday. “But this is going to be an IL placement because we need to remember him a beginning or two.”
