Jennifer Kuppo Shopperite LPGA Wins Classic

Jennifer Kuppo immersed a Burdy put on the last hole to eliminate a three -year drought and won the Shopperite LPGA classic at Gallow, NJ on Sunday.
Kuppo shot 5-under-legs 66 in the bay course at a seawlue to finish 15-under 198. He balanced two bogies with seven birdies, allowing him to finish a stroke ahead of Ilhe Lee in South Korea.
Kuppo secured the first position of his fourth career and the first place of the season -which was also the first top -10 finish of 2025.
“It seems just amazing,” Kuppo said. “I think I struggled a lot at the beginning of the year and very hard weeks, very difficult conversations, and it looks good. It really looks good.”
The 28 -year -old finally won an LPGA event in 2022, when he took home to all three wins of his career (Chevron Championship, Meeser LPGA Classic, Dove Great Lex Bay Invitational).
Addressing her slow start in 2025, Kuppo emphasized her mindset as a significant in victory, including remembering the cut at the last week’s US Women Open.
“I think in my mind I set up on 14-under, so I was really trying to go to that number,” Kuppo said. “Clearly improved a little better. Yes, just looks really good. Just stay in my area all the time.”
Kuppo rolled in Birdies at three of their first five holes, taking over the command of the final round. He added the Bedi to Nos 9, 14 and 16.
Li (68), who came during the day with the lead, took Kuppo into the final hole from a shot. Kupcho had a bird in Par-5 18th before matching it with 10-foot.
Lee shook a slow start – three bogies on seven holes – to rally in position. His six Birdies no. 9, 10, 11, 14, 17 and 18 came.
“I think this was the first time to start as a leader for me, so I was nervous in a way,” Lee said. “… I finished the great, I think.”
South Korea’s Sei Young Kim 6-under 65 was the third-place finisher, below 12, put three strokes behind Kuppo.
Ayaka Furu (70) of Japan was less than 11. Six golfers finished fifth in fifth place: Im (68) of South Korea, Azahara Munoz (68) of Spain, Ellen Craut (68) of Germany, Mao Cygo (71) and Miyu Yamshita (69) and Haming Hasu (69) of Taiwan (69)
World No. 1 was opened with Neli Corda 71 and finished 65th, but his second straightforward round (68) lifted her in 8th position in the 15th position.
