Jemma Drigberg, how Porter lead dove championship team event

Scotland’s Jemma Driabberg and Australia’s Qiki Porter shot 4-under-Para 66 on Thursday, which was sufficient for a-shot lead at the Dow Championship in Midland, Mich.
LPGA’s only team event of the year is 72 Twosomes in Folysam (optional shot) on Thursday and Saturday and four-wests (best balls) on Friday and Sunday. Six teams are a stroke on 3-under 67 behind Dromberg and Porter.
Although the 22 -year -old Porter is a less skillful player in his team, he made some important shots in his first round. He ran the green color in Par-4 12th, and two holes later, the coolie pasted for the bed.
“We have clearly different games,” Dryberg said. “Curly hit it ahead of me, and I am usually good and below the middle. As what kind of, we have chosen the right hole for each other, and I think we are really well prepared. We really complement each other well.”
Porter, a crook, is looking for his first win on the LPGA tour. He said that he said chat for a surname for his team for a nickname – and it came with “The Kilted Coalus”.
“I really regret it, I wish I could tell you that I came with it myself, but I didn’t,” Porter said.
The six-way tie for the second includes England pair Inrt Shadoff and Taiwan’s Heather Lynn; Both Saki Baba and Yuri Yosida, both Japan; Yan Liu and Yahui Zhang both of China; South Korean gin hai Im and Somi Lee; Jennifer Kuppo and Liona Maguire of Ireland; And Megan Khang and Lexi Thompson.
Kuppo and Maguire achieved an early bogie and placed four Birds on their cards.
“Folysam, this is always a game of patience,” said Maguire. “At 16, it was good to hole too long (put). On 2, there was a good at 3 to bounce back after the bogie.
Thompson is competing with Khang Fresh from her competitive week at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, where she was a contenders before being tied to 12th.
“The course is in great shape,” Thompson said. “I knew that we were coming here for an alternative shot that we just had to make a few shovedy and the pars were good. Just tried to live continuously and stay out.”
The head of the last week, World No. 2 Jeno, Thailand’s World No. 2, is another contenders to ruin the Chinese team partner. He opened with 2-under 68, tied with six other teams on that score.
