Jasprit Bumrah named the cricketer of the prominent men of Visden; Smriti Madhana won the honor of women

India’s leading pacery Jasprit Bumrah was nominated as the leading male cricketer in the world on Tuesday, while Vipul batsman Smriti Mandana grabbed the women’s category in the women’s category in the 2025 edition of the 2025 Visden Cricketers Almanac. Two Indian players were honored for their stand-out performance last year. 31 -year -old Bumrah took 71 Test wickets in season 2024 at an average of 14.92, which was the highest with such an economy by any bowler in the same year. West Indian Nicholas Gorn was named as the leading T20 player in the world.
